Man punched and bottled in 'sustained attack' in Sheffield city centre

The 20-year-old was attacked in Portland Lane, which runs between the Beehive and Cavendish pubs on West Street through to Pitt Street at the other end.
South Yorkshire Police said he was with some people he knew and others he didn’t when he was injured in a sustained attack just before 4.20am.

Hide AdIt is reported that one of the unknown men punched the victim in his jaw.
When he got into his vehicle, his front passenger side window was smashed.
The victim then got out of the car and was hit with a glass bottle.
Detective Inspector Ben Wood said: “As we continue to build a greater understanding of what has happened during this assault we are keen to hear from anyone who has information, or was in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage.”
