Man dies in hospital days after being found seriously injured in South Yorkshire property

The 46-year-old was found by paramedics at a property on Monsal Street, in the Thurnscoe area, around 4.40pm on Thursday, April 2.
He was taken to hospital and remained in critical condition until he died yesterday afternoon (Sunday, April 5).

Hide AdHis family have been notified and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
Detectives are now treating their inquiry as a murder investigation and are continuing to appeal for information in relation to how the man came to be injured.
Two men, aged 31 and 41-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of assault but have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
