Family of Tyson Mahmood make simple request to Sheffield after horror Ecclesall Road attack

Tyson Mahmooud, aged 36, was attacked at around 5.30pm last Saturday.
He was airlifted to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Hide AdEarlier this week his family revealed that he was battling for life in a coma.
A 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault remained in police custody last night.
Another 27-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, both arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, were released from custody while enquiries continue.
Social media has been awash with messages of support for Tyson as he fights for life.

Hide AdIn his latest post, Tyson’s cousin, Hassan Ali Mahmood, said: “Please, please, please just a little prayer, religious or non religious, the power of prayer is unbelievable. Even get your kids to do a little prayer. Honestly, children are pure and innocent, their prayers will be heard InshAllah.
“Love, peace and respect that is what social media has been flooded with since this incident. It goes to show when someone is good, no matter what, people will stand up and speak for a good person.
“Tyson Mahmood you are loved by many. I pray you come out of this in one piece, God willingly.”
