Cops CLOSE Sheffield flat after furious neighbours report anti-social behaviour

Officers from Sheffield North East Neighbourhood Police served a closure notice on a property in the area and two residents are now due to attend court, after claims they breached Section 86 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
The Act states that anyone who without reasonable excuse remains on or enters premises in contravention of a closure notice (including a notice continued in force under section 81) has committed an offence.

Hide AdPolice said they will now attend the address frequently and unannounced to prevent further offences.
In a tweet, the force wrote: “PARSON CROSS TEAM ENFORCE CLOSURE NOTICE – TWO TO ATTEND COURT FOR BREACHES - We will attend the address frequently and unannounced. Breaches are an offence under S.86 of the ASB, Crime & Policing Act 2014 if we find you in a closed address – we will prosecute you #TeamSheffield”.
