'Changing at Doncaster is annoying!' Woman ridiculed after saying direct trains to Grimsby will encourage terrorists

Her comment followed reports that the seaside town - and neighbouring resort Cleethorpes - could see its first direct link to London in almost 30 years.
The Grimsby local wrote: 'Don't think you will be saying it's good when terrorists from London get on a train and come to Grimsby. Bad idea my opinion.”

Hide AdBut the comment quickly went viral – with many pointing out that perhaps changing at Doncaster was putting off terrorists.
“Changing at Doncaster IS annoying!,” wrote Maracus Flute.
Another, Alex added: 'Love the idea that the only thing stopping terrorists from targeting Grimsby and Cleethorpes is the change at Doncaster.”
Paul Bowen sarcastically added: 'I'm a London-based terrorist and I can't wait for a direct line to Cleethorpes.
Another wrote: 'Bit of mayhem, spot of lunch in Steels then a nice kip on the train without the worry of missing my connection at Donny. Ideal.'

Cleethorpes MP Martin Vickers hopes the town could see a twice-daily train, according to reports.
And Sir Edward Leigh, MP for Gainsborough, will meet Transport Secretary Grant Shapps to push for the extra LNER services to Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
Passengers currently have to switch at Doncaster onto Northern and TransPennine Express services to reach the towns.
