Celebrity fans' messages to Sheffield Wednesday
Celebrity and political fans today sent best wishes to the Owls for the play-off final against Hull - worth £170m to the winner.

Martyn Ware, from Sheffield band Heaven 17, will be attending the game with his son – and arriving in a special limo he has called the ‘Owlsmobile’.
But he said: “Unbelievably, I’ll have to leave at halftime to make my way to a gig I’m playing at but I’ll watching the second half and possibly extra time and penalties.
“Wishing the boys amazing good luck for the game. It’s going to be a tight match but I believe in the set of players and the style that we’re playing with.

Sheffield Council leader and Wednesday fan Julie Dore, who will be at Wembley, said: “Sheffield really has had some terrible news on the jobs front and the game couldn’t have come at a better time to give the city a real boost.

And Carlton Palmer, who made 227 appearances for Wednesday, added: “Come on lads. It will be great for the city, back in that Premier League – we’re going to do it. Come on you Owls!”
Former Jackson 5 star Jermain Jackson, who started following the Owls in the late 80s and has written a song for the game, said: “We’ve waited so long for this moment. I’ve believed and I’ve held on to see this.
“We’ve come too far not to make it our time we’re going to do this! I feel like Sheffield Wednesday want this and we’re gonna take it!
