Bernie Clifton '˜fuming' over death metal CD mix-up
Instead of classic covers like Wind Beneath My Wings and Lady In Red, the CD purported to contain the death metal tracks Eternal Repulsion, Glaciate The Servants and more.
Bernie, 79, of Barlow, who made the album of covers after competing in BBC One talent show The Voice earlier this year, said: “I’m fuming and furious.

Abhorrent Decimation took the mix-up, believed to be due to similar catalogue numbers, in good spirits.
“Not sure what has happened here exactly but it seems we’ve done a split with Bernie Clifton. Safe,” they wrote on Facebook.
Bernie found fame in the 1970s and 1980s for appearing in popular shows like Crackerjack, Seaside Special and The Good Old Days.
He is perhaps best known for riding around on yellow puppet Oswald the Ostrich – but now Bernie wants to show off his vocal talent.
