Those of all faiths or none are invited to explore the architecture and history of the building and the beliefs and practice of those who worship there.
In the spirit of community and friendship the organisers aim to welcome people from across Sheffield to meet for a friendly chat and to discuss areas of common interest.

Hide AdThe event will run from noon-4pm and will feature tours, free refreshments, children’s activities and a chance to observe prayers in the mosque.
Imam Sheikh Mohammad Ismail, Muslim chaplain at the University of Sheffield and Deputy Lieutenant for South Yorkshire, said: “As Muslim chaplain at the University of Sheffield I see first hand the importance of the MWHS for students and the wider community.
“Visit My Mosque day offers an excellent chance for people to see the mosque in action and meet its members. ”
Ameena Blake, lecturer in Islamic studies at the Markfield Institute of Higher Education said: “We at the Muslim Welfare House of Sheffield, are delighted at the level of interest in this event and would encourage people from across Sheffield to come and say hello on March 3.

The Muslim Welfare House of Sheffield at 10-12 Severn Road is a registered charity, and works closely with other faith organisations in order to promote better understanding of faith among communities.
