2. Karen's art at her gallery
There's a last chance to see Cupola Gallery owner Karen Sherwood's exhibition of her own work at the venue in Middlewood Road, Hillsborough, which ends on Saturday, July 17. She said: " I work quickly and intuitively and work and rework paintings many many times over before finally finding a finished piece." Website: www.cupolagallery.com Photo: Karen Sherwood
3. Focus on photography
Join professional photographer Charlotte Newton with your camera or smartphone for a ramble around Firth Park at 11am on Saturday, July 17, picking up helpful photography tips and techniques. Book at shefflibraries.blogspot.com/p/wild-summer.html Photo: Sheffield Libraries
4. Snap to it
Another photography event takes place all this month as part of the Sheffield Libraries Wild Summer season. The focus is the Sheffield Round Walk, a 15-mile route in the south-west of the city. Take pictures on the walk and also download a family activity sheet to keep the little ones entertained. A selection of photographs will be displayed at the Central Library in late summer.
