A Sheffield restaurant has pledged to donate free pizzas every day to key workers who are keeping the city moving during the coronavirus pandemic – and it is appealing for people to nominate worthy recipients.

Proove, in Broomhill, has switched to offering deliveries and, during the week, a takeaway service since the Government ordered eat-in establishments to shut in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Deepak Jaiswal, the pizza restaurant’s co-founder and director, said customers had since shown a ‘humbling’ level of support.
