Sheffield's coronavirus death toll stays static as England records 50 new fatalities

It does not include deaths in any other settings, such as care homes.

Hide AdIn Sheffield the death toll stands at Sheffield 286 deaths, which is the same as it was yesterday.
A total of 224 hospital patients have died in Doncaster, which is an increase of once since yesterday but no extra deaths have been recorded in either Rotherham or Barnsley.There have been 193 deaths in Rotherham so far and 145 in Barnsley.
Barnsley Council has issued a statement asking for ‘extra care and vigiliance’ in the town due to a higher than normal transmission rate of COVID-19.
The number of cases per 100,000 population is 54.7, with only Leicester and Bradford higher.
