McDonald's unveils new limited menu for reopening - leaving some fans 'heartbroken'

On Friday (May 1) the fast food giant announced it would reopen 15 restaurants for delivery on May 13 after shutting down all sites due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Locations are set to be confirmed next week with extra safety measures in place for staff- including floor markings and perspex screens, face masks and social distancing measures.

Hide AdAnd McDonald’s has now confirmed exactly what will be on the menu- but some of the chain’s most-loved products are missing, leaving fans ‘heartbroken’.
Among the missing items are Chicken Legends, milkshakes, veggie options and most notably, the iconic Maccies breakfast.
"No double quarter pounder with cheese? This breaks my heart, @McDonaldsUK. Breaks it big time!" said one fan.
“So what about vegetarian options?” said another.
Another posted: “Not complaining maccys but plz consider adding fish finger/veggie fingers to the kids menu, there is no options for either muslim or vegetarian.”
