Police have reprimanded a group of Sheffield youngsters for breaking covid guidelines by ignoring social distancing by meeting as a group of eight inside a bus shelter.
Following reports of young people gathering on Stradbroke Road in breach of COVID guidelines police issued a number of warning letters to parents to remind them that we are currently still in lockdown and what the valid reasons are for leaving the house.

Hide AdA spokesman for Sheffield Southeast neighbourhood police team NPT said: “Eight people inside a bus stop with no social distancing is not acceptable, especially when they were not waiting for a bus.
“Despite being given false details by some of those involved, our detective PCSO's have managed to identify their correct details and have paid a visit to their real addresses.”
