Boris Johnson has been criticised for being unclear in his public address last night, where he informed the UK that those “who can’t work from home should be actively encouraged to go to work”, and that from Wednesday people would be able to exercise more than their previously allotted once a day.
The Prime Minister also said that social distancing rules should still be adhered to, and that people should ‘stay alert’ to help keep the infection rate of the virus down.

He will give the first outline of his ‘sketch of a road map’ for reopening society and the economy when he addresses MPs in the Commons today.
He is also expected to give more information on a Covid-19 alert system, guidance on use of face coverings and the return of professional football.
In his speech yesterday evening, Johnson also said that schools could reopen in phases from as early as June 1 if the infection rate could be kept down.
