A special thanks to South Yorkshire care workers will be extended this month when they’ll enjoy their own free music festival.

Carefest III – organised by Visiting Angels South Yorkshire – will take place on July 31 at Thorncliffe Hall on Newton Chambers Road in Chapeltown.

It is the third year for the event, which brings music into the lives of South Yorkshire’s care workers, their family and their friends, as a thank-you to the continued effort they put in to help people in the community.

A spokesperson for Visiting Angels said: “Carefest is our annual music festival to appreciate and thank all the healthcare workers for the amazing job they do day in and day out.

A celebration of awesome work done by all carers

“After the success of the celebrations last year, we are back with Carefest III.

“Join us for a sunny afternoon of live music, food, drinks and a celebration of the awesome work done by carers, nurses, doctors emergency services and other healthcare workers.”

Visiting Angels South Yorkshire provides homecare in Penistone, Silkstone, Wooley, Barnsley. We also cover Tankersley, Wentworth, Chapeltown, Ecclesfield, Rotherham, Sheffield and the towns and villages around.

It offers companion care, quality home care, personal care, complex homecare services, palliative care and more.

Visiting Angels make the process to start receiving care at home as easy as possible, with its experienced team working out the best kind of care a person needs.

Then a Visiting Angel will be chosen by the person who needs the care.

Says Dan: “We allow you to choose your caregiver because we understand that inviting someone into your home is a big decision.

“We feel it is important that you can choose who provides your home care because you should decide who you invite into your home.

The six-hour event is free

“We want to make sure that you get quality home care in South Yorkshire when you need it.”

And now it’s time to strike up the band, beat the drums, and sing very loudly as a note of thanks to everyone for offering that care, with the six-hour Carefest III event.

Entry is totally free, and the event runs from 2pm to 8pm.

There is even free food and drink for carers, no matter which agency they work for.
