Follow our tips for one day, and see if you can manage to hit your 10,000 steps!
1. Stand to work for a while
So many of us are working at home at the moment, but that doesn't mean we have to sit all day. If you don't have a standing desk, take your laptop into the kitchen for a while, and stretch your legs. Photo: .
2. Head to the garden
If it's safe to do so, head to the garden for a break. If you have kids, pull out the football and have a kick around, or get a good old-fashioned game of 'tig' going. Photo: .
3. Drink up
You need lots of water anyway, to keep your healthy and hydrated, so make all those trips to the kitchen, to fill up, count with some extra laps or fancy footwork. Photo: .
4. Take a moving break
If it's safe for you to do so, try and take a 15-minute walk around the block at lunchtime. If you really can't leave the house at all, hit the stairs. Commit to a set number of flights or minutes, and watch as the number of steps climb. Photo: .
