Children, teachers and school staff are self-isolating as a result of the cases.
Most schools have set up ‘bubbles’ of children and staff, with contact with other bubbles limited in a bid to reduce the transmission of Covid-19.
Sheffield was placed on the Government’s coronavirus watchlist last week as the number of confirmed cases in the city continues to rise.
If things worsen, options available to reduce the spread of the virus can include interventions such as local lockdowns.
