Broncos Rodeo, a Texas-themed bar and grill restaurant which opened last year on West Street in Sheffield city centre, has a mechanical bull on which customers can test their staying power.
But it is being made off-limits to diners who are found to be over the drink-drive limit for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

“If they do not pass the breathalyser at 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath or less then they must not be able to participate.”
The licensing application goes on to state that only trained members of staff must be allowed to operate the bull.

The Star contacted Broncos Rodeo to ask why the breathalyser tests were being introduced and whether anyone had been injured using the bull, but the manager declined to comment.
We also contacted the licence holder OMG (S1), which also ran the OMG nightclub which used to occupy the venue, but we have not received a response.
